Acceptable Use Policy
AMGlide is for working with your own files and the content you are allowed to use.
The rule
Use AMGlide only for lawful purposes, and only with files, media, websites and content that you own, created, or have permission to use. Converting, compressing, editing, recording and saving your own material — or material you are licensed or permitted to use — is exactly what AMGlide is for.
What is not allowed
You may not use AMGlide, on the website or in the extension, to:
- circumvent DRM, encryption or any other access control or copy protection that you are not entitled to remove;
- download, copy or distribute copyrighted content without the right to do so, or for piracy;
- scrape websites or collect data in breach of the law or of a website’s terms;
- steal credentials or personal data, or process them without a lawful basis;
- create, spread or test malware, or attack or overload any system;
- impersonate anyone, or make deceptive deepfakes or manipulated media meant to mislead or harm;
- record or monitor people unlawfully, or without consent where consent is required;
- create or process illegal content, including child sexual abuse material;
- harass, threaten or defraud anyone;
- abuse, overload or try to break AMGlide itself.
How this applies to specific tools
- Saving page media. Save only video, audio and pictures that you own or that the website and the rights holder allow you to keep. AMGlide saves files a page offers directly; it does not remove DRM or other protection.
- PDF passwords. Remove a password only from a PDF you are entitled to open. AMGlide needs the correct password to do it.
- Screenshots and screen recording. Capture only what you are allowed to capture, and get consent where the law requires it.
- Links and text. Tools that clean links or extract email addresses and phone numbers are for your own content; don’t use them to build lists of people’s data you have no right to process.
What happens if the rules are broken
We may remove access, suspend or close an account, or refuse service, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. To report misuse of AMGlide, write to support@amglide.com.
