The honest limits, before you spend time on it
Line by line
The two versions are lined up line by line, in order. A line counts as unchanged only when it is identical; every added, removed or changed line is listed with its line number.
You choose what counts
Exact compares every character. Ignore whitespace only, or whitespace and case, sets those differences apart and counts them on their own line — they stay visible instead of disappearing. AMGlide never decides for you which differences matter.
Limits
Each version can be up to 5,000 lines. Two versions so different that they can't be lined up here are refused with the reason, rather than shown as a misleading comparison.
