The honest limits, before you spend time on it
The ten fixes
Collapse repeated spaces; remove spaces before punctuation; trim each line; remove doubled blank lines; remove invisible characters (zero-width spaces, word joiners, soft hyphens); make unusual spaces ordinary; make line endings consistent; straighten curly quotes; turn long dashes into hyphens; join lines inside each paragraph.
Only what you choose
AMGlide ticks the fixes your text needs, and you can change them. Nothing is reworded, spell-checked or reordered — only the characters those fixes name are touched.
Not the same as removing blank lines
Remove doubled blank lines keeps one blank line between paragraphs. To drop every blank line, use Remove blank lines.
Limits
Up to 1,000,000 characters of text, or a text file up to 2 MB.
